College tuition 2021: Expect parents to pay 26K

By Moms.com - May 24, 2021

A new poll has shown that parents will pay an average of $26,000 a year for their child to go to college. Every parent wants their child to have a bright future, and a big part of that may be a college education. School is very important for the academic and social growth of a child, and parents can take this very seriously. They want their child to go to college, get a good job, and then they believe they will be set up for a successful life. However, not a lot of teenagers have the money to go to college, which means that parents can end up footing a lot of the bill.

According to Study Finds, this amount may be to the tune of $26,000 a year. That is a lot of money for a family, but parents may deem it worth it. The poll, which looked into a lot of aspects about what parents feel about college, was completed by OnePoll and commissioned by College Ave Student Loans.

Why College is so Expensive: | Thought Monkey
I’m a lucky guy. I didn’t do so well in high school and didn’t meet the requirements to go to university right off the bat. Instead, I went to Community College, lived at home, worked a part time job, and saved a sh*t load of money. Afterwards I went to a public University and saved even more money. I graduated during a huge recession without debt thanks to my privileged circumstances which allowed me to think less about the money I’d earn after college and more about my interests. That being said, tuition to even state Universities has increased dramatically since I graduated – making the once realistic American dream seem a distant memory for many of us youngsters.
